Tough cop Daya (Dayanand Shetty), who's famous for breaking doors at the behest of ACP Pradyuman, will have company on CID. The show is all set to introduce a lady Daya in actress Tanya Abrol, who had featured in Chak De! India. “She will play Jaywanti, a cop as tough as Daya and will be part of the show for good. A die-hard Daya fan, she admires and looks up to him. She is talkative, inquisitive and will be seen wielding a hockey stick.“
