Preity Zinta, who will be seen in a cameo in Happy Ending after a hiatus, plays one of Saif Ali Khan's ex-girlfriends - someone who he leans on from time to time when he needs comfort. About working with Preity, Saif says, “She is a dear friend. She was at my wedding with Kareena. She even took me to the hospital once, when I fell off a bike and nearly killed myself! We go way back. I'm very happy to have acted with her again. We have a screen history that helps the role and it's very cool of her to do a special part for us in the film.“
