The filming rights of best selling author Anuja Chauhan's book Battle For Bittora have been purchased by Anil Kapoor's company for a while now. The story is about a 25-year-old girl Jinni who lives in Mumbai, working in an animation studio till her politician bossy grand mother calls her back to her native place Bittora to contest the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Much against her wishes, she agrees to fight the elections as candidate Sarojini Pande, daughter of the illustrious Pande dynasty in Pavit Pradesh. Her main opponent turns out to be Zain Altaf from the royal family there. Apart from the bitter battle in this Lok Sabha elections between these two young contestants, Battle For Bittora is also a passionate love story. We have exclusively learnt that the Khoobsurat Jodi of Sonam Kapoor and Fawad Khan have been finalised to play the lead cast in the film that is going to be produced by Sonam's younger sister Rhea.
