From ordinary to adventurous
Katrina Kaif will be donning different avatars in director Siddharth
Anand's Bang Bang. In the film, the actress plays the character of
Harleen - a bank receptionist, who is taken on a whirlwind journey.
Be it displaying the simplicity of a girl-next-door or transforming into a sexy diva while romancing co-star Hrithik Roshan or pulling off stunts as an action heroine, Kat has done it all.
She says, “Harleen is a simple girl living her simple life before she gets embroiled in Rajveer's (Hrithik) life and ends up becoming the exact opposite of what she was. Harleen's journey is exciting and I hope everyone joins us on this roller coaster ride of fun, action and romance.“
Siddharth elaborates, “Rarely in an action film do the hero and heroine have equal parts. In that aspect, Bang Bang stands apart. So, it was important to cast someone who stands tall with Hrithik Roshan. And we found the perfect match in Katrina.“
Bang Bang, produced by Fox Star Studios, releases October 2.
