What happens when a super hero's car breaks down in the middle of a deserted road after midnight? No, he doesn't fly away into the night but takes an auto-rickshaw back home. That's what happened on Saturday night when Hrithik Roshan was driving to his Juhu residence from Film City and his ride halted due to a punctured tyre.

While Hrithik's bodyguard started a frantic search for a mechanic, Hrithik just hopped into an auto. When contacted, Hrithik confirmed the story, saying, "I simply love Mumbai. My car broke down at 3 am but it took me just a minute to find an auto." The ride, his first in over ten years, reminded him of his college days. "But what was most memorable was that the auto guy didn't recognise me," chuckled Hrithik.

Stars are used to getting mobbed. So much so that they almost all the time crib for some privacy in public places. Hence, it came as a pleasant surprise to Hrithik Roshan when an auto rickshaw driver gave the star a ‘common man’ treatment. It was on Monday morning around 2.30 am when Hrithik’s car developed some problem and the actor hopped into an auto. The Bang Bang star tweeted “Car bangbanged! Night time auto ride home! I love my city! Funny thing is d driver has still not recognised me! Fun.” He also posted his pic in the auto. How sweet!
