Actors singing a song in their own films is common now. In a first ever, Shruti Haasan has sung a romantic song for Sonakshi Sinha in Tevar. The music directors Sajid-Wajid found Shruti's voice fresh and extremely soothing and Sonakshi, being the confident actress she is, was more than happy so far as it worked well for the song. This certainly says a lot about our new generation of stars, who are clearly defining new ways of working together.
