After his debut film Heropanti, Tiger Shroff has been flooded with accolades and offers. Senior actors like Aamir Khan, Salman Khan and Ajay Devgn have praised the newbie. Ajay, in fact, was so impressed that he decided to cast Tiger in a film with him, to be directed by Remo D'Souza. But Mirror has learnt that the film is not happening in the near future, and definitely not with Tiger.
The story goes that Ajay approached Sajid Nadiadwala, who had launched Tiger in Heropanti, to co-produce the film with him. Sajid bit the bait and his protege started prepping for the role.
Then, suddenly, Tiger did a U-turn. Revealed a source close to the development, "Tiger told Ajay and Sajid that he had reservations about doing a two-hero project at this stage in his career, taking the duo by surprise. Sajid and Remo tried to convince him, but he could not be coaxed into changing his mind. And the trio decided to put the film on hold."
When contacted, Remo said, "Yes, Ajay, Tiger and I tried to make a film together. But things didn't work out."
Defending her son, his mother Ayesha Shroff said, "Tiger respects Ajay immensely and has no hangups about working with him. The reason must be something else."
Tiger insists that the reason is "date clashes".
