After several delays and date clashes, Roy, Ranbir Kapoor's film with Jacqueline Fernandez and Arjun Rampal, is finally back on track. Initially, Jacqueline's commitment to Kick had threatened her presence in the film and then had RK got busy with Jagga Jasoos and Tamasha.

Just when rumours about the film getting indefinitely delayed had started making the rounds, Mirror has learnt that the actor has allotted 20 days to the film's director Vikramjit Singh, starting from August 21.

Revealed a source, “They will be leaving for Malaysia for a 20-day schedule where a majority of the portions with Ranbir will be shot. He has squeezed time between the schedules of Jagga Jasoos and Tamasha, which might now be moved to December or early next year."

Elaborating on RK's character in the film, the source added, “He plays a skilled art-thief, it's an intriguing character, unlike anything he's attempted so far.

Confirming the same, Vikramjit told Mirror, “Yes, we've got RK's combination dates in the last two weeks of August. A major chunk of the film will be completed in that schedule as we need to be ready for a February release."
