Singer Kumar Sanu is a proud father, with his London-based daughters, Shannon K (12) and Annabel (10), taking their first steps in the world of music. Shannon recently released her debut single, the lyrics for which were written by Anna. Interestingly, it was the emotional state of one of their friends, who was dealing with her parents' separation, that led to the sisters' musical debut. Shannon says, “One day, Anna came home crying from school as one of her friends was upset because of her family situation. Anna expressed her emotions by writing a poem, and I decided to compose it. Dad heard me humming and asked me to sing it. That's how this song came about."
