On Sunday afternoon, Hrithik Roshan stepped out with his kids, Hridhaan and Hrehaan. The trio caught the latest Hollywood release, Guardians Of The Galaxy, at PVR Juhu multiplex.

When contacted, the actor told Mirror, “Yes, we watched the afternoon show of Guardians... What a fantastic film!” Although the actor is separated from his wife Sussanne, he continues to socialise with brother-in-law Zayed Khan who accompanied them, along with his sister Farah Khan Ali’s son Azaan.

Hrithik’s choice of entertainment for an afternoon out with his kids wasn’t a surprise. The superhero film which is the 10th instalment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is a summer blockbuster. The film, directed by James Gunn, boasts of an impressive cast, including Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel and Bradley Cooper.

The fantasy adventure's hero, Peter Quill forms an uneasy alliance with a group of extraterrestrial misfits who are on the run after stealing a coveted orb. Interestingly, Hrithik’s last film was the Indian superhero flick, Krrish 3, in which he too encounters mutant outlaws, and one of them Kaya (played by Kangana Ranault) helps him vanquish Kaal, the lord of the underworld.

The film's hero Pratt lost 60 pounds in six months to play the intergalactic hero. Ditto for Hrithik who overcame crippling back problems to build a wow body for his turn as the caped crusader.
