Arjun Kapoor was recently shooting a song sequence for his film, Tevar, with Shruti Haasan when he injured his back.

A source from the film’s unit says, “It was a three-day schedule and we were shooting in Film City. On the second day of the shoot, Arjun hurt his lower back while performing a particular step and soon after, we had to halt shooting for a couple of hours as he was in pain. But after some time, we resumed shooting as we have a deadline to meet and no more dates were available.”

The source says that on his part, producer Sanjay Kapoor had insisted on calling off the shoot for a day. “We would have been in big trouble if the shooting was cancelled because we don’t have any more dates from Arjun and Shruti. Luckily, a doctor was called on the sets and after taking some pills, Arjun was feeling better. He then said that he will continue shooting and that’s how we completed the shoot,” says the source.
Both Arjun and Sanjay Kapoor remained unavailable for comment.
