Real men don't shed tears too easily. Or even if they do, they probably do it in the confines of their bathroom. However, Ajay Devgn recently got teary-eyed while reading a letter from his friend Sanjay Dutt, who is currently incarcerated at Pune's Yerawada Central Jail.

Written on pure-white ruled paper with blue ink, Sanjay's neat handwriting took his friend 'Raju' (Ajay's pet name) back in time when the two would exchange handwritten notes with each other.

Though he categorically refused to share the letter because it had some personal aspects as well, Ajay was happy to say that his buddy had lost 11 kilos with his strict exercise regimen. And the fact that Sanju proudly walks around the prison “shirtless, showing off his eight-packs", brought a smile to his face.

He also smiled as he recalled the line where Sanju teased him about his improved dancing skills in recent movies. “Sanju remembered how awkward we were while dancing in Mehbooba (2008)," he said.

Of course, the lump-in-the-throat moment came when he remembered the bit where the senior actor sent him and Rohit Shetty loads of good wishes for their upcoming release, Singham Returns. Sanju, who has shared screen space with Ajay in Rohit's All The Best: Fun Begins (2009), talks about how he is with them in spirit, though far away physically .

Naturally, Ajay was moved to tears. It also happens that these two actors have been friends for long. Their fathers -Sunil Dutt and Veeru Devgan -shared a warm relationship. Likewise, Sanjay and Ajay have continued their relationship irrespective of the many ups and downs in their individual lives.
