Shakti’s shoot goes for a six!

Last evening, Shakti Kapoor was shooting for Rakht Dhaar in Filmistan Studios when a group of eunuchs landed up on the set, upset over the alleged misrepresentation of their community in the film which centres on a eunuch who goes on to become a successful politician.

Shakti Kapoor recounted the fracas, saying, "They even assaulted the security. I assured them that the film shows them in a positive light, but they wouldn't relent and it was pack-up for the day."

Only after the producers showed them the script did the group leave the premises. "Now, I've agreed to one of them monitoring the shoot, pointing out anything that's offensive. I hope there won't be any more problems," said Shakti.
