Mohit Suri's mother is the youngest sister of Mahesh Bhatt. When he was eight, his mother died of a cardiac arrest at 37 just before the release of the original Aashiqui that had been dedicated to her. After she died, Mohit lived with his father, while his older sister Smily Suri moved in with his mother's mausi, who was also Emraan Hashmi's nani and she grew up with him.

It was heartening to see these pictures taken on Wednesday at the Laxmi Narayan temple at Khar, where her closest two brothers, Mohit and Emraan, married her off. These exclusive pictures are worth a thousand words.
