A differently-abled aspirant
on Cine Stars Ki Khoj recently reduced actress Parineeti Chopra to
tears.
The reality show, which aims to discover versatile and talented actors, will see contestants being tested for their presence of mind, creativity and the ability to enact a variety of roles, spanning genres like romance, comedy , drama, dance and action.
The show has Dhoom 3 director Vijay Krishna Acharya aka Victor and actress Sonali Bendre as judges. It also presents the contestants with an opportunity to interact with and be groomed by the best in Bollywood. Parineeti, one such 'Bollywood Buddy', recently shot for two opening episodes.
Among those who left the actress impressed was 20-year-old Kartik Vyas from Allahabad. The deaf and mute youngster mimicked actors like Shah Rukh Khan, Anil Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan and Nana Patekar, leaving the judges and the audience touched.
While giving the feedback after his act, both Parineeti and Sonali got emotional. The judges gave Kartik a standing ovation.
If Kartik left Parineeti with a heavy heart, some other budding actors had the chirpy actress singing along and shaking a leg with them.
