Mohit’s little sister, married!

While director Mohit Suri is busy basking in the success of his recent hit, Ek Villain, his younger sister Smily, who made her acting debut with Kalyug, tied the knot with Vineet Bangera yesterday.

The wedding took place at a Khar temple in the afternoon. It was attended by uncles Mahesh and Mukesh Bhatt, cousin Emraan Hashmi, brother Mohit and sister-in-law Udita Goswami besides Vineet's family.

The duo met at Vineet's dance institute in April last year and it was love at first sight. Said a source, "Vineet proposed to her during Diwali and they got engaged on March 31 with the blessings of both families. The marriage was an extremely private affair attended only by family members and a few close friends."

Confirming the same, Mahesh Bhatt told Mirror, "The rain gods showered their blessings as the two souls exchanged vows. Smily is my niece and I'm very fond of her. Vineet is a great man and will keep her happy. Everybody from the family was there so the occasion doubled up as a reunion."

Although Mohit couldn't be reached for a comment, he tweeted a picture of his sister in her bridal attire and captioned it as, "Smilaaaa so happy for you."
