Mohit Suri is set for a second collaboration with Riteish Deshmukh who played the bad man in his last film, Ek Villain.
Mirror has learnt that after wrapping up his Vidya Balan-Emraan Hashmi-Rajkummar Rao love triangle Hamari Adhuri Kahani, Mohit will direct a biopic which will be produced by Riteish.
Revealed a source close to the development, "Riteish has been toying with the idea of a biopic for quite some time and discussed it with Mohit when they were shooting their last film. Mohit promised him then that they would take the idea forward. Now, the time has come for Mohit to honour that commitment."
The film will be a bilingual to be made in Hindi and Marathi and is likely to feature Riteish in the lead. Added the same source, "When they met at Ekta Kapoor's party on Tuesday night, the subject came up again and the duo planned to meet in the coming week to work out the logistics of the project."
While Riteish Deshmukh remained unavailable for a comment, without revealing more details about the still-under-wraps project Mohit confirmed the story, saying, "Yes, that's the plan that we are working on."
