John Abraham heads to the small screen. Not as an actor, though, but as the producer of a reality-cum-fiction series on the lines of Channel V’s Heroes and another show.

The show’s format remains undecided as yet, insists the source, adding, “John liked the concept and has agreed to come on board. They are still figuring out whether the show will deal with crimes against the common man or if it will cover the story from the cops’ angle,” says the source.

While this won’t be the first time John has been seen on TV — he has been a brand ambassador for a TV channel in the past and was also the face of a show that revolved around tigers — it will be the first time he will produce a show for TV.
