Rajat Aroraa, who has
written Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai and The Dirty Picture, has written
the dialogues for Salman Khan's Kick. He talks about his first time
experience of working with the man of the masses.
Is Salman's dialogue in the film, `Dil mein aata hoon...' true of his offscreen personality too?
When we write for a character that is similar to the actor (in this case, Salman) for real, it matches well. That's why people appreciate such lines. Salman's one-liners on screen are popular.
Did that put any pressure on you?
His dialogues have been oft-repeated by his fans. So when you work with him, you feel that it shouldn't fall short of the expectations people have from him. There's a huge responsibility to match the kind of lines he has spoken in the past.
Heard Salman gifted you a watch. True?
I was pleasantly surprised. When you retire, there are some rewards you remember forever. This will surely be one of them.
