Bombay Times recently told you about Govinda's daughter Narmmadaa's Bollywood debut. (An article published on June 28: Govinda's daughter Narmmadaa to debut in Bollywood opposite Punjabi superstar).

Some media reports suggested that the Bollywood actor had denied the news. However, Govinda confirmed news of his daughter's debut to us.

He said, “I am very proud of Narmmadaa. Apne balbute pe woh films mein aa rahi hai. She's all set to make a foray into Hindi cinema on her own. She sat with me before finalising her debut film and I am happy with her choice. Gippy Grewal is a superstar of Punjabi cinema and I am confident about Nammo's decision. In fact, I go to her and my wife Sunita for advice. About the preparation, my kids don't have to learn dance or comedy. It runs in their blood. I want to wish Narmmadaa all the best. My blessings are with her."
