More action for Akshay Kumar

 Siddharth Anand is working against the clock to wrap up the Prague schedule of his Katrina Kaif-Hrithik Roshah starrer, Bang Bang, so that the film meets its October 2 deadline. But alongside, the director has already started work on his next movie. Mirror has learnt that Siddharth will collaborate with Akshay Kumar on a stylish action thriller, which the actor will also co-produce.

Siddharth met Akshay for a narration and the star almost immediately gave the project his nod. This will be the first time the two will be working together.

Revealed a source close to the development, "It's a heavy-duty action thriller set across the globe. The idea was with him, even before Bang Bang went on floors. He has a great working relationship with Hrithik but felt this role is more suitable for Akshay."

The film is expected to go on floors early next year and talks are on with several top actresses to star opposite Akshay.

Added the source, "Although Siddharth has made romantic films in the past, Bang Bang has given him the confidence to helm a big scale action thriller like this."

Siddharth, who was shooting abroad couldn't be reached for a comment while Akshay didn't respond to our text messages.
