Deepika Padukone recently added a Tulsi plant to the flower deck at her Prabhadevi home. The plant, considered auspicious - especially for women - has become a kind of mini-obsession with the actress. Whenever she's in town, she spends a lot of time tending to and nurturing the herb. Deepika, we hear, also worships it in traditional style.
Even when away from home, she frequently checks with her housekeeping staff about the wellbeing of her favourite plant and insists that a diya is lit near it in the morning and evening.
