We know that Rajkumar Hirani will be making a biopic on Sanjay Dutt with Ranbir Kapoor playing the protagonist. Rumour has it that the director will also be producing the movie in association with Manyata Dutt.

Raju and Sanju have been good friends since they teamed up for Munna Bhai MBBS (2003) and the filmmaker is trusted with handling the subject sensitively.

Ranbir, who shares a very good equation with Sanju, too is said to be keenly involved in the biopic. Reportedly , he'd like to prioritise the movie and is said to start working on it after Anurag Basu's Jagga Jasoos with Katrina Kaif and Imtiaz Ali's Tamasha with Deepika Padukone.
