It's a girl for Imran Khan-Avantika Malik

Monday morning brought great
news for Imran Khan, who's on a paternity leave until the end of this
month. His wife Avantika Malik delivered a baby girl in a suburban
Mumbai hospital. Both the mother and the baby, we hear, are doing fine.

Imran Khan and wife Avantika Malik have a new member in the family. It's a baby girl!
Although the actor could not be reached for a comment (he had switched off his mobile phone), a source close to the couple told Mirror that Avantika delivered the baby at around 10 am at Hinduja Healthcare Surgical (Khar).
On Imran's request, Avantika's hospital room was done up in hues of pink to welcome the baby.
Said the source, "It was a C-section but both the mother and the baby are doing well. Imran was moved to tears when he got the first glimpse of his newborn daughter. It was an extremely happy moment for the entire Khan-daan." Among the first family members to rush to the hospital to meet baby Khan was granduncle Aamir Khan.
Close friends of the actor, including director Shakun Batra visited the hospital to congratulate the couple.
However, the proud parents are yet to decide on a name for the latest addition to their family.
Imran married his long-time sweetheart Avantika in January 2011.
When Avantika got pregnant in December last year, the actor promptly went on paternity leave and has played the role of a doting husband to the tee since.

Bollywood actor Imran Khan is now a father. On Monday morning, Imran’s wife, Avantika Malik, delivered a baby girl at a suburban hospital. Says a source, “Both Imran and Avantika’s families are really happy.
Everyone is excited about the newborn. Both the baby and the mother are
doing fine.”
It seems that Imran has been a hands-on husband as he took care of Avantika’s needs, whims and fancies all through her pregnancy. “Imran was so excited about the child’s arrival that he did not take up any new project in the meantime. Now that the baby is here, he is expected to resume work after a month or two,” says a source close to the actor.
