Fugly collects 2.25 cr on Day 1

FUGLY picked up better in Delhi city and East Punjab but the rest of
the circuits showed little pick up. Rajasthan was next best. The
collections in Mumbai were dull as the total for Mumbai will come in at
the same level of Delhi/UP when it should have been higher.
East Punjab did good business with 34 lakhs nett as the Haryana side of the circuit did good business. Delhi NCR was also good though UP was dull. Rajsthan grossed a decent 16 lakhs nett.
The all India collections will be in the 2-2.25 crore nett region which is low but still gives the film a chance if that big Saturday growth of 40-50% comes which would mean decent business for the first week at least. Exactly one year ago FUKREY collected 2.50 crore nett on day one and went on to do good business. So although the first day of FUGLY is low its not that low that it does not even give the film a chance.
