Vikram Bhatt's long-in-the making, Creature 3D, which features Bipasha Basu and Pakistani actor Imran Abbas, seems to have hit another roadblock.

The film's release has now been pushed from August 22 to September 12 as the film's producer Bhushan Kumar believes that August 22 is an ill-fated date.

Revealed a source, “Bhushan doesn't want anything to go wrong with a project as ambitious as Creature 3D.
This has also given Vikram extra time to work on the post-production. The film will now open on September 12." We sent a text message to Bhushan Kumar but he chose not to comment.

Vikram attributed the delay to the on-going VFX work for the film. Said the director, “It is a mega budget film for both Bhushan and me. We had to push forward the release by two weeks because Ajay Devgn's Singham Returns opens on August 15 and we didn't want to come within a week of its release."

However, the new D-day sets up a clash with Homi Adajania's Deepika Padukone-Arjun Kapoor starrer, Finding Fanny Fernandez, but Vikram is not bothered about this competitor. “It's an English film, it won't bother us," he shrugs.
