Arjun Kapoor, who has so far resisted getting in the cyber space, will soon be joining Twitter. His fans have been requesting him to get on the microblogging site and he has decided to do so on his birthday on June 26.
All his contemporaries, like Ranveer Singh, Sidharth Malhotra, Varun Dhawan, Sushant Singh Rajput etc, are already active in the online space and now Arjun will be joining them. Though most of them were active from the time they made their debut, it took Arjun four films and three years in the industry to get used to the idea. His mother Mona Kapoor used to be very active on Twitter, as is his younger sister Anshula, and cousin Sonam Kapoor. Now he will be joining the family on the internet as well. His aunt Maheep (Sanjay) Kapoor, and friends were urging him to come on Twitter for quite some time but being an intensely private person Arjun resisted. He isn’t comfortable about posting personal stuff in a public space. But now he has bitten the bullet. What remains to be seen is if he will sharing more than information about his films.

Arjun’s spokesperson confirms, “Yes its true. A digital firm has signed Arjun and will actively handle his social media presence.”
