Aamir Khan's teenage daughter Ira will host a celebrity football match on June 20. Our source says the star-beti, who got amazing grades in her final year at school, has managed to get several superstars, including Sachin Tendulkar, Hrithik Roshan, Abhishek Bachchan and Tiger Shroff on her own accord for the tournament.

It is her initiative to gather funds for a charity for an animal shelter. Even her father is not in the know of who she has contacted. In the meanwhile, Aamir's nephew Imran Khan may not participate in the football match, except as a viewer. The actor admits he knows nothing about the game that currently has the world in a tizzy thanks to the ongoing football World Cup.

“My friends keep me awake at night to watch the important matches. But I must confess, it is only their enthusiasm that rubs off on me. I have no knowledge of the sport and the reason I do not follow it is because I can barely see the players' faces. You can only identify the players with the numbers on their jerseys. For me, that is not enough," says Imran.

He adds, “I do know the names of key players and the countries they represent, but as a sport, I have always preferred lawn tennis to football because at least in that game, they often zoom in on the players' faces. The closeups show the agony, ecstasy, the strategy and the thought process of the player. For me, as an actor, catching a close-up of someone is important. I like to see the various emotions flitting across the player's face. With cricket and football that doesn't happen."
