Not many know that 24-year-old Patralekhaa (earlier known as Anwita Paul), the debutante leading lady of Rajkummar Rao’s forthcoming film Citylights, is also his reallife girlfriend. While the actor has admitted that he is in a committed relationship, the two haven’t made it public as yet. A source reasons, “They have made some appearances together, but haven’t spoken about each other as they don’t want their relationship to overshadow their film. Also, marriage is not on the cards at the moment as they want to concentrate on their careers.”

 Asked about debuting opposite her boyfriend, the actress says, “We play a married couple in the film and the equation was required to be different.” When probed further if she was told to change her name from Anwita to Patralekhaa, she says, “Patralekhaa is my real name, given by my grandmother, who was a poetess. People found it too long and Anwita became my pet name. However, Mukesh and Mahesh Bhatt asked me to retain my original name.”
