Debutant Tiger Shroff, who will be seen in Heropanti, used to bite, scratch and growl at people when he was young, prompting his parents, Jackie and Ayesha Shroff, to call their cub Tiger.
And now the youngster has legally adopted a four-year-old tiger, Jaan, from Nagpur. The actor, who has always wanted to contribute to the wellbeing of tigers, says, “I am concerned by their dwindling numbers. Hence, the decision to adopt Jaan. This is my way of conserving wildlife.”
He also adds that the animal’s strength and agility inspire him to be fearless. “I don’t think there is any animal as majestic as a tiger. Perhaps it is the only being that combines beauty, fearlessness and power. It carries itself with so much royalty and grace,” he concludes.
