Where were you when your servant decamped with over a crore in cash?
First, let me tell you how I was fooled. I hired this guy from Jharkhand called Saajan Kumar four months ago. Every night he'd massage my feet and I was taken in by him. To answer your question, I was in Delhi on the day of the theft.

Why keep such a large amount of cash at home?
Galti ho gayi. I never keep too much cash at home. But.... (changes the topic). The important thing is that my wife Shashi is safe. She was bathing when Saajan fled with the cash. If she had been around, there might have been a scuffle.

How did you learn about the robbery?
My driver called me up and I took the next flight to Mumbai.

Did Saajan undergo police verification before you hired him?
I have four other servants. Sirf Saajan ka nahin kiya tha. Such is life.

What will you do now?
What can I do? (voice rises) I have left the matter to the cops. Hope he's nabbed soon.
