Shiv
Sagar, producer Ramanand Sagar’s grandson, has launched his own
production company, Eastern Motion Pictures, whose first venture will be
a fantasy with Disney.
The youngster says, “We have been developing the idea for the last two years and are on the verge of locking the script. It’s too early to reveal details. All I can say is that it is a fantasy film and will be made on a lavish scale."
Buzz is, Shiv has Aditya Roy Kapur and Vidyut Jammwal to topline his ambitious project. The debutant producer confirms this saying, “Yes, these two actors certainly fit the bill but we’re still a long way from finalisiing the cast. I require an actor in the range of 20-25 years. In fact, all the actors will be in this age bracket. "
Shiv is also keen on producing TV shows under his banner. He reveals, "I am coming up with a show that will be aired on Sony. There's a lot in pipeline. The Sagars can never be too far awayfrom showbiz."
