The grapevine suggests that many versatile actresses; from Sridevi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to Kajol, were reportedly waiting with bated breath for news on the next projects of Balki and Gauri.

While Balki has moved forward with his Amitabh Bachchan-Dhanush project; a trade source suggests that there was a hint that Kajol and Gauri may team up. But that ain't happening. According to our source, the curly-haired director and Kajol are both strongheaded and temperamental, and their working together may have caused some friction on set. So now Gauri is likely to go for for an actress who is less talented than Kajol but more amenable. We texted Kajol but she remained unavailable for comment.
