GODZILLA had an average weekend as it grossed around 17 crore nett over its first weekend. It is the sixth highest opening weekend for a Hollywood release but such a figure would have been okay a few years back and higher figures are expected today.
The film could not do much in the dubbed versions of especially the Telugu one where there was potential of much higher collections but the single screens in Andhra Pradesh did not endorse the film.
GODZILLA needs around 40 crore nett to cover the costs and it remains to be seen if it can get there.

THE XPOSE was fairly steady on Monday with collections dropping less than 50% as it grossed around 1.25 crore nett. The first day was hit by 25-30 lakhs due to the election results and so in real terms the drop is 50%.
The film is likely to remain steady with low collections over the weekdays and should finish the week with around 11.50-12 crore nett business which is reasonable. Then it will be down to second week to decide if the film manages around 15 crore nett or can go towards 20 crore nett for lifetime business.
The business on Monday was also best in Gujarat and Central markets. Though North also showed a 50% drop from Monday, the collections there are at lower levels. The daily business for the first four days is as follows.
Friday - 2,15,00,000
Saturday - 2,50,00,000
Sunday - 3,00,00,000
Monday - 1,25,00,000
TOTAL- 8,90,00,000
