It's Entertainment, co-produced by Tips Industries Ltd and Jayantilal Gada (PEN), will see Akshay Kumar sharing the screen with a Golden Retriever called Entertainment. The movie, which marks the directorial debut of writers SajidFarhad, also stars Tamannaah, Mithun Chakraborty, Johnny Lever, Prakash Raj, Sonu Sood and Krushna Abhishek, and has Jay Shewakramani as the creative producer.

The story revolves around Akhil Lokhande (Akshay) and Entertainment. Akhil, who initially makes devious plans to kill the canine and inherit a fortune, later ends up sharing a bond with the animal.

Co-producer Ramesh Taurani says, “The interaction between Akshay and the dog is the USP of the film. Like all entertainers, it also has action, comedy, drama and a dose of romance. It's a fun, family movie."

About finalising Akshay's four legged co-star, Taurani explains, “We were always keen on having a Golden Retriever play Entertainment. The breed has the look and charisma that are right for the role. It was our crew in Bangkok who found Junior (Entertainment), an extremely well-trained dog and turned out to be everybody's favourite co-star."

It's Entertainment, co-produced by Dhaval Jayantilal Gada, Kushal Kantilal Gada and Reshmaa Kadakia, releases August 8.
