Producer Boney Kapoor had a narrow escape on Wednesday , after a tractor rammed into his luxury SUV. The incident took place around 9 pm, when Boney was on his way to Wai, where Tevar, starring his son Arjun Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha, is being shot.

“While navigating a turn at Phaltan (between Satara and Wai), a tractor, suddenly came up and rammed into the car,“ informed a family friend. Fortunately , the producer and the driver escaped unhurt. But a member of his staff, who was seated behind, suffered some bruises due to the jerks caused by the collision.
When contacted, Boney said, “The tractor was coming on the wrong side and without its lights on. Fortunately, the inside compartment of the car is securely built. I had worn the seat belt and the airbags opened in time By the grace of God, blessings of my parents and well-wishers, there are no bruises or injuries."

Even the tractor was damaged in the collision. The driver was hospitalised for minor injuries and discharged the following morning. The local police have registered a complaint and are investigating the case.
