After sharing screen space with Oscar winners like Judi Dench and Maggie Smith in The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel (2012), Tina Desai may now get to work with the Wachowski siblings (Lana and Andy), known for helming The Matrix trilogy.

 Buzz is that the young actress, who was last seen in Table No 21, has been offered one of the principal roles in the director duo’s sci-fi TV series Sense8. According to a source, she is yet to sign on the dotted line, but if things go as planned, the shoot will commence some time in June.

 And this is not the only international project in her kitty. Desai recently finished shooting for The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel and this time, she got to work with Richard Gere.
