Smilie Suri, director Mohit Suri’s sister, will get married to her dance teacher Vineet Bangera on July 2. The couple exchanged rings on March 31. Smilie joined Vineet’s dance class a year ago, to learn Salsa. “It wasn’t love at first sight. We became friends and he stood by me through thick and thin. One thing led to another and last Diwali, he proposed to me by giving me a promise ring. He informed his parents, who met my family, and the engagement took place. It’s North meeting South. The wedding will be a mix of North Indian and South Indian rituals,” the actress informs. Smilie likes the fact that Vineet isn’t from the industry. “Vineet is very secure and sorted and lets me be. He is very patient while I am hyperactive. He wants me to continue working. I am open to both TV and films,” says the actress.
