Sidharth Malhotra will replace Imran Khan in Vikramaditya Motwane’s social drama Bhavesh Joshi. The young actor was chosen because the filmmaker liked his performance in Hasee Toh Phasee and is convinced that he is the right choice. There was some talk of Ranveer Singh being in the project, especially since he had already worked with Vikram in Lootera and the two of them share mutual respect. The director, though, seems to have made up his mind.

 Both Vikram and Sidharth remained unavailable for comment. But an insider said, “The paperwork is being done.”
