MAIN TERA HERO collected 33.50 crore nett in its first week as the weekdays did well and were aided by a holiday on Tuesday. The film added over 65% to its weekend business on the weekdays which is good trending.

It is the fourth highest first week of the year behind JAI HO, GUNDAY and RAGINI MMS 2. It beat the likes of SHAADI KE SIDE EFFECTS, HASEE TOH PHASEE and YAARIYAN.

The best business came in Rajasthan, CP Berar, Nizam Andhra which all had a first week of 2.25 crore plus and Gujarat which was best of all went over 4 crore nett. The film has a lot of work to do if it is to compare with the makers last film CHASHME BADDOOR. It released at the same time last year and finished with 42 crore nett but was made at 50% the cost of MAIN TERA HERO.

QUEEN grossed 2.25 crore nett in its fifth week and now stands at close to 60 crore nett. The film will surpass the 60 crore nett mark over the weekend.

The film has now crossed 20 crore nett in Mumbai, 15 crore nett in Delhi/UP, East Punjab has crossed 6.25 crore and Mysore comparatively is the best circuit with business over 5.50 crore nett. The distributor share of the film has hit the 25 crore mark.

The business of QUEEN till date and the weekly drops is as follows. The film has withstood the competition from films like RAGINI MMS 2 and MAIN TERA HERO very well.

RAGINI MMS 2 is looking at finish a little bit less than 50 crore but it has more than recovered its costs from the domestic theatrical business alone.
