In a bid to highlight Kangana Ranaut’s fun avatar in Revolver Rani, the makers have created its title track in graphic animated version, sung by Usha Uthup. The actress plays a dacoit, Alka Singh, who also redefines ‘Phasion’, not to forget even its pronounciation. The title track, we hear, traces her journey from being an innocent child to the woman everyone fears, in a satirical form.

 Says director Sai Kabir, “The graphic video was specifically created to communicate Alka’s world. The movie is like a tamasha, a circus, and the treatment is a homage to Hindi pulp novel imagery.”

 The film, presented by Wave Cinemas’ Ponty Chadha, has been produced by Raju Chadha, Nitin Tej Ahuja and Rahul Mittra.

 Revolver Rani, a Crouching Tiger production, releases April 25.
