Of late, Ekta Kapoor had ditched her superstitions, especially her obsession with the letter K and the titles beginning with it. But it appears that she is back to her fixation. Her upcoming film has been titled Kuku Mathur Ki Jhand Ho Gayi. The producer considers it lucky for her TV shows and films to have a title starting with the letter K. A source informs, “After Kyaa Super Kool Hai Hum (2012), Ekta was not too bothered about keeping titles of her films as per astrology as all her films had leading stars or a script which she thought would work for her. However, in this particular film, the star cast is new and she is a bit anxious about its outcome. Therefore she wanted to have at least one factor working in her favour.”

Adds the source, “After consulting an astrologer, she came up with this title and is hoping that it will work for her film.”

Beginners’ luck
The film stars newcomers Siddharth Gupta, Ashish Juneja and Simran Kaur Mundi and is currently being shot in Delhi.

Tanuj Garg, the CEO of Ekta’s production house, adds, “It is a coincidence, but K has been largely lucky for the company so we are happy to have another ‘K’ venture.”
