Actor Amit Sadh, who sustained an injury last month while shooting for Subhash Kapoor’s Guddu Rangeela, was unable to cast his vote this week due to his fractured leg. Despite his insistence, his physiotherapist ruled out the possibility of him standing in a queue. While the actor missed his date with the ballot, he underwent surgery earlier this week and is expected to start walking soon. In fact, Amit is taking heavy antibiotic medication to recover, and if all goes well and his injury heals properly, he will be back on set in less than two weeks.

Said his spokesperson, “Amit has had a speedy recovery. The doctors evaluated his progress through this month and hence he had a minor surgery this past week. He will be able to resume work in less than two weeks. Amit has been impatient to get back to work. And this is the longest break he has taken.”
