Buzz is that Sunil Grover’s standup comedy show Mad In India may end prematurely because of low TRPs. Says a source, “It was commissioned for 28 episodes, but it may wrap up within 13.”
The show began in February, a few months after Sunil quit Comedy Nights With Kapil, where he played Gutthi. His new show, however, did not have enough celebrities. Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan were to appear in an episode, but they pulled out due to certain contractual issues. About the show ending, Sunil says, “I have no idea. I just do my work, which is to shoot.”
