Sonam Kapoor is house hunting these days. The actress wants to invest her earnings in an apartment.

She currently lives in Juhu with her parents, Anil-Sunita, and siblings Rhea and Harshvardhan. However, the actress is not planning to move out. The house she is hunting for is strictly for investment purposes. 2013 was a great year for Sonam with two of her biggest hits in Raanjhanaa and Bhaag Milkha Bhaag and many endorsement deals. She wants to invest her money in something which has solid returns and was advised by papa Kapoor that property was a good place to put her money in. Now they have been scouting for houses — a spacious 2-3 BHK flat, between Andheri and Bandra.”

She will be renting out the place. Says a source close to the actress, “Sonam has all the independence she wants where she currently stays, in her Juhu bungalow with her parents. She is extremely attached to her family and has no intentions of shifting out from there. The flat is purely an investment.”

Sonam confirms that she is searching for an apartment as her first-time investment. “My parents and I have been looking for apartments from Andheri to Bandra but haven’t found anything as yet. It will be my first investment.”

The actress has to wrap up her house hunting soon as she will have no free time, when she starts shooting. She reveals, “I start shooting for Arbaaz Khan’s Dolly Ki Doli from April and then the promotions of Khubsoorat begins in June. However, I do plan to go off with my girl gang for a brief break in June during my birthday like I went last year to London and Paris.”
