Box Office India Trade Network

RAGINI MMS 2 had a very strong first day as it collected around 8.10  crore nett. The film had good to very good collections in all circuits with single screen dominated circuits outperforming .

Basically sex and horror works in many markets but underperforms in the North and here there was the chartbuster Baby Doll to counteract that got North on board too. The film probably lost around 10% business due to the cricket match..

But it has to be noted that the best collections at many places were in the early shows. So it remains to be seen where it goes in the next few days. The film is a success due to the first day and will pull through even if there is a big crash but it remains to be seen if it can sustain and emerge a major winner.

GANG OF GHOSTS opened to a poor 5% response while ANKHON DEKHI and LAKSHMI were total washouts and had shows cancelled at places despite a limited release.
