Pulkit Samrat’s fiancée is Salman Khan’s rakhi sister. We caught Salman with Pulkit while Salman was shooting for Atul Agnihotri’s title track for O Teri. Talking about Pulkit, Salman said, “Pulkit reminds me of myself when I came into the industry first. Probably it’s his vulnerability that makes me feel like that. What I like most about him is that he is very clean looking. I like the fact that he doesn’t panic and is patient. He was doing TV, which he quit to do films. For the longest time, he did not have work, but he remained patient and did not get desperate, knowing that he was capable of what he felt he is capable of. And then he came in a film, basis the best he could find, Bittoo Boss, and did a remarkable job in it and then did Fukrey. It is hard to find this in a boy who is so polite and such a thorough gentleman and so sweet-looking.

 He has a great comic timing, acts very well, is dedicated and is sincere. He is very suljha hua and his look reminds me of myself. He has the sincerity of Aamir. He is also a fan of Aamir. Though Pulkit may not show it physically, the preparation is all in his mind. I saw it at the time of Jai Ho. I was surprised by him as a hero wanting to do a cop’s role in Jai Ho. But he saw the potential and said, ‘I want to do it.’ He had no insecurity standing against giants like Aditya Pancholi who are 6.2 feet tall and are big boys as far as acting goes. Pulkit is very level-headed and mature and is also an incredible dancer. He has so far all the makings of a big star. And, yes, his fiancée is my rakhi sister, but I would not produce a film with him unless he fit the bill.”
