Abhishek Bachchan was recently announced by Global Network as the first official END7 campaign ambassador in India to help raise awareness of Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs).
And now the actor has been chosen as the keynote speaker at the Economic Forum for India at London School of Economics (LSE) 2014. “LSE is hosting its forum on March 15, and Abhishek will be a keynote speaker in the sphere of entertainment. He will fly to Holborn, London, for the same on March 14,” says a source.
The forum is a powerful platform, where influential thinkers and experts talk about various economic issues related to India. In fact, LSE is known to host some of the world’s brightest minds at such forums. Bachchan Junior joins the likes of personalities such as Nasser Munjee, Chairman of the Development Credit Bank; Air Chief Marshal Anil Tipnis; and Ranjan Mathai, Indian High Commissioner to United Kingdom, to name a few. It is interesting to note that Abhishek also played moderator at India’s first amfAR charity auction that raised funds towards creating awareness about AIDS. The actor is clearly in a mood to give back to society.
