Grace Of Monaco, the film starring Nicole Kidman, which has been co- produced by Yash Raj Films, has been officially chosen to open the 67th Cannes Film Festival in May this year.

According to the official website of the Cannes Film Festival, the world preview of the film will take place on May 14 in the official selection category, Out of Competition.

Helmed by French filmmaker Olivier Dahan, the biopic is based on the life of American actress and Princess of Monaco, Grace Kelly. The film centres around her life after she married Prince Rainier III in 1956. It was shot for 16 weeks in Monaco, south of France, Paris, Vintimille, Gand and Bruxelles.
