Saturday’s unseasonal rain may have not exactly thrown the city life out of gear but it disrupted the shoot for Sajid Nadiadwala’s upcoming film Kick. It has emerged that shoot for the film — that stars Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez — had to be pushed by a few hours due to heavy rains on Saturday morning.
According to sources, the film’s cast was on its way to the film’s sets when it started pouring. And given that this was an outdoor schedule, Sajid had no option but to cancel the shoot. “They had planned to shoot an elaborate outdoor sequence in Filmcity on Saturday morning. But then it started raining heavily and Sajid initially decided to cancel the shoot. Fortunately for them, it stopped pouring after two hours, and they resumed shooting thereafter,” says a source.
Director Sajid Nadiadwala confirmed the news. “The shoot was delayed by three hours,” he replied.
